Today at church I was surrounded by adorable old couples. Behind me was a couple wearing matching red, white, and blue outfits, they kept laughing at each other, and finishing each others sentences, and repeating what the priest had said cause one of them couldn't hear very well...it was so obvious that this couple was still so in love with each other. Then there was another couple that was celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Can you imagaine....50 years!!! and they also looked like they were still so much in love with one another, lol I got all teary eyed, I'm such a romantic when it comes to such things. I looked at those happy old couples, realizing that not every marriage makes it to the level they made it to, but I want that soo much! I pray that God will let me experience that joy in my life. I was having this conversation with Kayla earlier this week, about how it's possible that we might not even get married, or it would be weird if we knew the person we were going to get married to right now, *sighs* I guess I should just get through college first then worry about getting married later...

So today I managed to get a job...whoop! o the excitement *sarcasim* *sarcasim* So this summer and throughout the fall I will be a "server" rather a waitress at the new Cheeburger Cheeburger in the Hunt Valley Town Center. So it is nice that I got a job cause I'm kind of bored right now, but it's now sinking in that I have to work again, and that's just not a fun thought. I dont know if i'll even like this job...well everyone must visit and tip me very well, because without tips I'm only getting $2.38 an hour. Tips as learned in Mr. Froeb's English class means To Insure Prompt Service...that joy of random facts. So life is well and good, and I am glad, but it is a little dull right now, hopefully this job won't be awful like last summers, and maybe it'll provide some entertainment. July should prove to be more exciting then June, I leave at the end of July for Iowa (that just sounds thrilling right there) but really I like Iowa. We have a family reunion there every summer, and we run a race called BIX 7, which is seven miles of steeps hills and fun!!!!!!! yay...we get back from Iowa Aug. 2 then Nick comes on the 4th...hopefully my good friend John will get to come up too, cause that would be awesome.

So summer is finally here, as of Tuesday. That is fun and all, except I am now quite bored. I still haven't found a job which stinks, cause it's not like I haven't been looking..I shall find one! I have been reading a lot, the most recent finish was a book called "I Capture the Castle," it was very good, and I highly recommend it. Wedensday was a lot of fun at Rachel's. Me, Eliza, Rachel, Suz, Abbe, Alex, Lucy, Banny, Rose, Jimmy, Laura, Kyle, Brendan, Katie, Nick, and Rob all went tubing down the river behind Rachel's house. Quite the interesting experience, there were a lot of rocks, and I am sure most of us woke up with bruised butts today. Fun times with grape throwing and bonfire. So really, other than that I have been doing a LOT of errands, staring at the computer screen waiting for interesting people to get online, but most people have more productive lives during the summer then staring at the computer screen, reading of course, playing tennis and running, and basking lazily in the summer sun. Basically, I have been enjoying my summer break in la la land. I am so excited!!!! One of my best friends from Texas, Nick, is coming to visit me in August!!! yay!!!! Sadness though, August means that everyone leaves for college..and I may never see some of those people again...very weird. I hope everyone is having a great summer break (hopefully a more productive one then myself) |

So I'm sitting here bored at my computer, just thinking about the most random things. Thought number one. Isn't I guess a good word would be weird, to see how things usually don't work out the way you think they will. Usually, things work out for the best, but if you're planning on something happening, it is most likely that the plan won't turn out excatly how it was suppose to. Well, maybe I'm weird, but that is how things usually work out for me. A year ago, I thought my life today would be soooooo different, and it is amazing how much my plan has changed, mostly I am happy with this, but then you have to question, well why did things turn out the way they did?? For me, it all goes back to wondering what I wonder what God has in store for me, especially in the next year. Do you think, if you were given the chance to see what was going to happen a year from now, that you would change the way you were living now to be prepared for then?? This is deep you guys (: Personally, I would definitly keep life the same. God hands us curve balls for a reason...anyway, that was my random thought, just putting it out there. |

First of all...CONGRATS CLASS OF 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have finally graduated!!!! YAY!!!!!! O my gosh senior week was such a blast. Eliza and I left for Rehoboth Beach Sunday morning. The house was awesome, and there were countless good times with me, Eliza, Amy, Jordan, Alex, Igor, Josh, Kevin, Kayla, and of course in the end with Brooks and Tyler lol. I am so glad we went to Rehoboth instead of Ocean City, too much wild crap going on over there. I hope everyone else had a great time on their senior weeks!!! |

So my senior year of high school has at last come to an end. We graduate in two days, and I could not be more excited. I must say that it is really weird that I have only known the people I am going to graduate with for not even two years. It feels like I've known some of these people forever, and I am so thankful for the wonderful friends I have made here, and all the other great friends I still have from Texas. Senior Prom was such a blast!!!!!!!!! Earlier that day Lucy and I played in the state tennis tournament at University of Maryland. We were hopeful that we could play two rounds and still get out of there in time to get to prom, but alas, our first round was not until 2:00 and we wanted to be gone by 3:00, so we played a pretty bad match, losing to the girls that would eventually become the state champs, gaining our second loss of the season. O well, tennis was so much fun, especially those awesome bus rides (come sail away, tehhehe)and I am so glad that I played, maybe I'll play in college. So then there was prom, so much fun!!!!!!!! Dan and I had a very good time, and I think all the other people in our limo(yay for the hummer) had a good time. I won a free manicure and pedicure at About Faces, so that was kinda exciting. The music at prom was absolutly awful, but Grad Gala was a lot of fun. So now it's been the first free week of no high school, and is it bad that I'm really kinda bored?? I have read 3 books in the past 2 days, but at least I have senior week to look forward to!!! That is definitly going to be fun and interesting, with my group I am sure there will never be a dull moment. Now the question is where am I going to work this summer? I was suppose to be a lifeguard but could never work out the training, so where can I work, suggestions are welcomed. Yesterday was the senior award ceremony, longest, and most tedious event ever...alomst 3 hours, gah! I heard back from Maryland today, and I still only have spring acceptance, so it'll be the University of Delaware for me in the fall, I am looking forward to it, and it's nice to know that if I completely had Delaware, I can always transfer to Maryland in the Spring. Weird though, the acceptance rate for Delaware is 48% and i got in right away, but the acceptance at Maryland is higher at 52% but got Spring acceptance....what's up with that man!! God is sending me to Delaware for fall semester for a reason, so I am excited to see what that reason will turn out to be. Yay for the class of 2005, see you all at grad rehearsal tomorrow! |

Holy crap, tomorrow is my last full day of high school. This is way too bizarre. I am so happy and excited, but at the same time im a little sad, today for instance when I was reading through what people had wrote in my yearbook I felt like crying because I am most likely never going to see the majority of these people after graduation, and I've come to care a lot about so many of them. So ya that's kinda weird. But anyway!! Lucy and I are going to STATES for tennis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am really excited, except for the fact that states are the same day as prom, and that we have to be at University of Maryland by like 8 in the morning, and we have to play two rounds....sooooo when will I get my hair done??? good question...hmm. Life is really really awesome right now though, I am truly blessed. |
